| Each competitor receives
a certain amount of points based on their finish in an event. In case of
a tie, the points that would be awarded for each position are combined and
equally divided among the tied players. Palyers can also receive bonus points
also. Five bonus points are awarded if a player is in the lead after a round.
A player can only get these bonus points once per event (in other words,
you cant get 20 points for leading all 4 rounds). Also, the winner of the
event gets an additional five bonus points. At the end of an event, the
winner ends up with 110 points total (100 for first, 5 for winning and 5
for leading after a round). Players that finish in 25th or below all receive four points. Anyone who DNFs (does not finish) will receive four points reguardless of the size of the field. |
